Heather is an Ozarks native and discovered Pilates in 1995 while living on the West coast. She was in a traumatic car wreck that left her in a coma and hospitalized for 6 weeks. After months of physical therapy, she found that Pilates was the only thing that made her body feel whole again. Heather and her husband moved back to SW Missouri to raise their family. She opened Everybody Pilates in Ozark in 2002 when her babies were 2 years old and 3 months old. She continues to practice Pilates weekly, 30 years after the car wreck, to help with her tremors, posture, and body alignment. Heather loves to help others feel better in their bodies, while they advance in age, by practicing mindful movement through Pilates. She knows firsthand what happens to the human body when we stop moving. Movement is the best medicine for pain. Pilates is for EveryBody.
